Peter R. Pensa, AICP

Pete has worked extensively on due diligence, site plan reviews, planned developments, concurrency management issues, variances, rezonings, and comprehensive planning, and developing Budgets and Capital Improvement Programs. In his role as Community Development Director at the City of Indian Rocks Beach, Pete wrote the City’s architectural and site design standards ordinance. In his role as Planning Manager at the City of Largo, Pete partnered with severely declining neighborhoods to develop action plans for private and public initiatives to improve safety, property values, and quality of life. His knowledge of the comprehensive planning process and land development codes provide AVID with expertise in the site planning and preliminary permitting stages of development projects.

Pete received his Bachelor of Administration in Geography and Urban Planning from Binghamton University in 1995. He received his Master of City and Regional Planning (MCRP), Clemson University in 1997. Pete is a veteran of the US Army with experience in Human Factors Engineering, and as a Legal Specialist.
